Garbage Service is offered in the 177 Lake Estates Subdivision, Pepper Hill Subdivision, Emmett Road, Moody Drive and Martin Road areas ONLY. This service is furnished by Republic Waste. Monday and Thursday are regular trash pick-up days.
GARBAGE COLLECTION GUIDELINES
1. All trash should be ready for collection by 7 a.m.
2. Carts should be placed at the curb with the handles facing away from the streets.
3. Lids must be completely closed for service.
4. Cars must be placed at least 4 feet away from any other object.
5. Cut brush and treee trimmings in lengths not to exceed four feet in securely tied bundles, each branch not to exceed more than 3-4 inches in diameter, and not weighing more the fifty pounds. Limit is 4 bundles on each pick up day.
HEAVY TRASH PICKUP
Heavy trash pickup is the second Friday of each month.
1. This is limited to onen bulk item (such as one couch, onw washer, or one dryer).
Includes:
- Stoves
- Refrigerators (Freon must be drained and tagged by certified technician)
- Water tanks (empty)
- Washing machines
- Furniture
- Grill without propanet tank
- TVs (less than 50 lbs.)
- Bagged Leaves and Grass Trimmings
Excludes
- Construction materials such as: wood, boxes of nails, tile, sheetrock, paneling, windows, door, insulation, masonry debris, glass, stone, roofing, tree trunks.
- Lumber
- Pool filters and water softeners
- Tires
- Concrete
- Carpet
- Steel or cast iron building materials
- Dean animals
- Dirt
- Ammunition
- Gasoline, oil insecticides, grease,
- Paint, stain, or varnishes
- Pool Chemicals
- Batteries
- Engine fluids, oil, filters
- Pesticides
- Propane Tanks
- Medical Wastes
- Fluorescent light tubes
Any items that are too heavy to lift safely or is an excluded item will not get picked up and will be tagged to advise you.
